FlickFinder is designed with privacy in mind. We don't require accounts, we don't track you, and we don't sell your data. It's that simple.

Data We Collect

We collect nothing. FlickFinder does not:

Require you to create an account
Collect personal information
Track your location
Use analytics or tracking SDKs
Share data with third parties

Data Stored on Your Device

FlickFinder stores the following data locally on your device only:

Streaming service preferences — Which services you've selected (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
Saved movies — Your watchlist
Watched movies — Movies you've marked as seen
App settings — Your preferences (minimum rating, content filters, etc.)

This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, this data is deleted too.

Third-Party Services

FlickFinder uses the following services to provide movie data:

TMDb (The Movie Database) — Movie information, ratings, and images. See their privacy policy.
JustWatch — Streaming availability data. See their privacy policy.

When you browse movies, the app makes requests to TMDb's API. These requests include only the information needed to fetch movie data (like genre IDs or search terms) — no personal information.

Children's Privacy

FlickFinder does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. We'll never start collecting data without making it clear.
